Its Cataloging feature lets you securely organize your archives. It also offers command-line support for unattended archiving, compression, and extraction without interface. It opens all major archive and e-mail attachment formats, including ZIP, JAR, RAR, CAB, ARJ, and LHA (LZH) archives; self-extracting files (EXE); Unix Z archives (GZ, TAZ, TGZ, Z); Unix TAR archives; UU-encoded e-mail (UUE, UU); MIME e-mail (MME, MIM, B64); Mac Bin Hex (BHX, HQX); Outlook (MSG); and Outlook Express (EML). It also creates ZIP, Java Archive (JAR), ARJ, and LHA (LZH) archives, UU-encoded e-mail (UUE) files, and self-extracting (EXE) files. You can search, view, print, and launch files within ZIP without unzipping or decoding.
Version 6.0 features the super fast zip/unzip core engine that is 35% percent faster than before. Many performance options have been added to this release to increase speed of zipping and unzipping.
